Covid19 has defined our existence during these few months, and has changed our social interactions in more ways than we might imagine. Our space has shrunk to the four walls of our home, but in reality our horizons may be expanding.
Even the technologically timid among us have ventured into “Zoom”land and have found ways of socializing and being close and cozy that we thought were not possible. Some may have even become addicted already to being connected to people and places from around the corner to around the world, all on a computer screen.
Will they return to a simple lifestyle where you meet the neighbor on the sidewalk or you gather in the clubhouse to celebrate something that does not fit even on large screen. Will they travel far and wide for business or to visit family and friends? Will they shake hands or hug?
Will they appreciate those who help selflessly, and cheer for those who sacrifice without hesitation, and acknowledge those who lend a hand whenever and wherever they could? Or will we return to our merry ways of before?
Who knows?
Let’s talk about this a little bit. If you can, please write back to share what you think, what you hear others say, what you agree with and what you disagree with. Your thoughts?
